WIMA has a long tradition in the field of passive electronic components. It was founded by Wilhelm Westermann in Unna/Westphalia in 1948. Within only a few years he extended his company into one of the leading specialists in capacitor production. WIMA is a privately owned company and the president today is Dipl.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Wolfgang Westermann. WIMA is located in Germany and has four sites there: The Sales Department and Central Lab are in Mannheim, most modern production facilities are situated in Aurich, Berlin and Unna. Continual technical progress and expansion have made WIMA the first address for high-quality film capacitors worldwide. WIMA Group is specialised in three global business areas: Plastic film capacitors Paper capacitors Supercapacitors WIMA’s strength lies in the design and production of customized products requiring experience and highly developed expertise. SMD Capacitors Size codes 1812-6054 and capacitance values from 0.01 µF through 6.8 µF with PET and PPS dielectric.
Capacitors in PCM 2.5 mm WIMA subminiature capacitors are available in metallized or film/foil version with capacitances up to 1.0 µF.
Capacitors in PCM 5 mm With capacitances up to 10 µF and voltage ranges up to 1000 VDC the WIMA capacitors in PCM 5 mm covers a wide field of applications.
