Multi-output aerospace and military AC/DC power converters

Eaton’s AC/DC power-conversion solutions include the dual and triple-out products previously supplied by Martek Power, Abbott Electronics, and Sure Power. These harsh environment solutions provide 5V to 15V outputs and feature six-sided EMI/RFI shielding.

The broad array of standard products listed below provides proven topologies that can be leveraged to quickly develop cost-effective custom AC/DC power supplies.

Dual output – 35 watts – 5v to 15v outputs

RW35D AC/DC power supplies operate from AC inputs of 103V – 127V (47 – 440 Hz) and DC inputs from 90V – 160V. The outputs listed below are isolated and can connected in any combination of positive or negative configurations or tied in series to provide higher output voltages.

  • +/-5V @ 1.46A
  • +/-12V @ 1.46A
  • +/-15V @ 1.17A

Dual output – 50 watts – 5v to 15v outputs

RW50D AC/DC power supplies operate from AC inputs of 103V – 127V (47 – 440 Hz) and DC inputs from 90V – 160V. The outputs listed below are isolated and can connected in any combination of positive or negative configurations or tied in series to provide higher output voltages.

  • +/-5V @ 2.08A
  • +/-12V @ 2.08A
  • +/-15V @ 1.67A

Triple output – 50 watts – 5v to 15v outputs

RM50T AC/DC converters operate from AC inputs of 103V – 127V and 180V – 260V (47 – 440 Hz) and DC inputs of 100V – 200V and 200V – 300 V. Standard products are available with a 5V main output and one pair of +/- auxiliary outputs.

The auxiliary outputs listed below are isolated and can connected in any combination of positive or negative configurations or tied in series to provide higher output voltages.

  • +/-15V @ 0.5A

Emi filtering and power factor correction

Eaton’s AC/DC solutions include input EMI filters and active power factor correction and harmonic-attenuation modules. Quick turn, modified and custom solutions are also available.

These rugged products meet MIL-STD-461C CE03, MIL-STD-461D CE102, and MIL-STD-461 CE01 and CE101 without the use of external filters. Additional compliances include:
